The new Teresa Collins December 25th Cricut cartridge has been released for Christmas 2012 and is very likely to be THE cartridge to use for this upcoming Christmas.
If I had to pick one word to describe it, I would choose “beautiful”.
The images and phrases just have a true designer look and feel to them and there is just something so fittingly elegant about them.
There are quite a few Christmas cartridges to choose from, but I personally think that this is THE most elegant and highest quality of them all.
If you already have a number of other Christmas themed cartridges, then this will definitely enhance and add to your selection with little to no overlap in terms of image style and design.
A definite buy for Christmas 2012 (and beyond)!
You have probably guessed by now that I absolutely love the images that the Cricut Cartridge December 25th contains and although the actual images are nothing greatly different to what you would expect from an Xmas themed cart, it is the sumptuous style that each of them have that makes it special.
The styling actually kind of reminds me a bit of the Victorian era (which I love), so that’s probably what makes me a little bit bias towards this cartridge.
There is a good selection of festive images (of course), but it is the other images, such as the delicate (and individually different) snowflakes and festive abstract shapes that I really like.
It is difficult to explain the style, but even something as “expected” as the Christmas tree is styled in a completely different way than the usual offerings on other cartridges.
There are a total of 40 images to choose from on the Cricut December 25th cart.
Phrases and Frames
There are disappointingly so many cartridges these days that contain a number of different phrases, but they are basically in the same style and font style with just a different phrase.
That’s why it is SO nice to see that each of the festive Holiday phrases that the December 25th cartridge contains have been all individually styled to offer a stark contrast to each other.
The phrases are mainly those that you would expect, but once again it is actually the style of them that make them so very attractive and appealing.
There are a number of framed festive images to cut out, which are really reminiscent of the Victorian era and also reminds me of those fabulous broaches and pendants that the ladies of that time used to wear.
